As the cost of living soars in the UK, business leaders’ salaries are back in the spotlight. After a contraction in the immediate aftermath of the Covid lockdowns, the gap between the average worker’s pay and that of the average CEO is growing once again, presenting difficult questions about fairness during hard times.
