Nic qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young before moving to Virgin, where he worked on launching a number of financial products. He joined Online Media Group between 2004 and 2016, in which time their turnover grew from £2.3m to around £50m. In 2016 Nic joined KnowYourMoney.co.uk while also setting up his own consultancy advising companies looking to scale.
