Matthew Dixon

Matt Dixon is a Founding Partner of DCM Insights, the customer understanding lab.  A noted business researcher and writer, he is a sought-after advisor to leadership teams around the world. Matt is best known as the co-author of four of the most important sales and customer experience books of the past twenty years, including The Challenger Sale which has sold more than a million copies worldwide and was a #1 Amazon and Wall Street Journal bestseller. He is also the co-author of the customer experience blockbuster, The Effortless Experience: Conquering the New Battleground for Customer Loyalty. His latest book, The JOLT Effect: How High Performers Overcome Customer Indecision, debuted in September 2022. Matt is also a frequent contributor to Harvard Business Review on topics ranging from sales effectiveness to customer experience strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in political economy and lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife and four children.
